iPod mini Announced at MacWorld

Apple Computer announced the iPod mini today at MacWorld Expo. The product contains a 4 gigabyte hard drive that is expected to store 1,000 songs. It is smaller and lighter than the current iPod models, has an anodized aluminum case, and comes in silver, gold, blue, pink, and green. Suggested price will be $249.

The smallest iPod model moves up from 10 to 15 gigabytes and retains the $299 suggested price. [ via MacMerc.com ]

It looks like the Wall Street Journal got the story about right in their Tuesday edition.
