R-Driver II USB 2.0 to IDE Cable Is Ideal for Copying Data from Hard Drives Being Replaced
Earlier today Engadget pointed out a review of the R-Driver II USB to IDE cable adapter that retails for less than $35. The review they noticed was published on theGadgeteer.com and gives basic information about the product. I did some research on this and other USB 2.0 to IDE solutions and the review I liked best is found on DansData.com.
Quick and dirty tools like this are great if they work and you need a cheap, temporary solution. Other people like Martin O'Donnell swear by little drive enclosures that they buy at places like Fry's Electronics or on EBay. YMMV.

Its very convenient to use because i could carry "Gigabytes" of file without having to dismantle my desktop pc. Whats more convenient? Use a 2.5 HDD (laptop hdd) and you don't need to use any power adaptor for it like an ordinary thumbdrive. I just love it and i would recommend to all for those mobile.
Only downside was it is too fragile to carry, a three foot drop of your HDD means a lifetime regret. :)
HELP: I'm just wondering if you have the homepage of this product cause i cannot find any driver for my laptop which is still under WinOS 98. I'm desperately in need of this driver (Win98se) cause i lost the supplied cd.
Thank you very much.

I suggest taking a look at the USBgeek.com's listing for this product Not only do they have links to other websites that might have more information about the R-Driver II, but they also sell the product.
If you need the driver that badly and can't find it elsewhere for download, you could always buy a second complete package for $35.
Good luck,
