First Week of April 2005 Workouts

Here's a quick summary of the workouts that I did last week:

  • Monday, April 4: Average wind speed of 18 mph with gusts of 30. Poor day for riding.
  • Tuesday, April 5: Too busy to ride.
  • Wednesday, April 6: 14.0 mile bike ride in 50 minutes.
  • Thursday, April 7: 13.9 mile bike ride in 51 minutes.
  • Friday, April 8: 13.9 mile bike ride in 50 minutes.
  • Saturday, April 9: Rest day. Spent the day with my family.
  • Sunday, April 10: 5.9 mile bike ride in 29 minutes. Easy pace. Riding with Kathleen who hasn't been out very much this Spring.

This was a week in between two very difficult weeks. I exercised for a total of 3 hours, burning 2,930 calories. I spent a lot of time finishing up consulting work, and preparing for my trips to the Chicago Showcase and the Tour de Georgia. I was happy I got out as much as I did.
