A little while ago, I saw the following message on the Amazon.com home page:

Clicking through to the T-Mobile Sidekick II product page revealed a final cost of $-50.01 after rebate if you sign up for a new contract with T-Mobile USA.
This is indeed the lowest price I've seen on the Sidekick II. There are great deals on other handsets as well, including:
