Some Sidekick II Users Lose Connection with the Back End at Danger, Inc.

Martin O'Donnell has a Sidekick II and just sent me the following email:

I haven't received any new email on my Sidekick since 3/5, I just got a text from TMO today [ that was dated ] 3/8 at 11:04: "We apologize for the service interruption. Voice calls and text messages are still functional. We're working urgently to restore full service."

[ Note: His Sidekick II was off overnight, but it was on yesterday at 11:04, so messages must be delayed. ]

This has obviously been going on for a while, as a CNET News.com article called Danger outage turns Sidekicks into just phones indicates. This article was written two days ago.

I'm sure this is not what T-Mobile had hoped for in the wake of the other problems they've experienced recently.
