LAF Store Reports Slight Delay in LiveStrong Wristband Shipments
I'm waiting for a shipment of one 10-pack of LiveStrong Yellow Wristbands from the Lance Armstrong Foundation On-Line Store that I ordered on October 1. Late this morning, I received the following email:
Hello David,
Thank you for supporting the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). We wanted to provide you with a quick update on your recent order with the LAF Store.
At the time of your order we had indicated that it would ship from our warehouse within 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately, due to unplanned delays in our supply chain, your order will ship a few days past that 3-4 week time frame. As a result, we wanted to apologize and let you know that your order should arrive very soon. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and we thank you for your continued support and patience.

This doesn't bother me, but some Operation Gadget readers have fretted about the whereabouts of orders that were placed three or four weeks ago. Don't panic. We're all getting our LiveStrong wristbands. It's just going to take a little longer.

Hey again. Not to bother you, but please tell me. Are they coming? Or will they take a while. I just want to know when to expect them. I LUV U GUYZ!!! :) And one more thing. People are saying you guys are sold out? Is this true. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago, does that mean I am not getting them fora while? PLease let me know. thanks. I have hope.

I would say that you'll probably get your shipment within 5 weeks after you placed the order. I received an order this week, it was about a week later than I expected when I placed the order, but I received the email from the LAF shown above that warned of the delay.

I had sent for 10 pack wrist bands on October 9, 2004 order number yhst-14063172011154-248335. That was just a week after my son sent for his, and he has gotten 2 sets since then. How much longer do I have to wait? I am getting a bit impatient.

There has been a delay in our order. I placed my order on 10/02/04 and I haven't recieved my order yet.

Folks:
I feel like I'm repeating myself a lot lately. Our experience and every indication we have received from Operation Gadget readers is that LiveStrong wristband orders are taking about 5 weeks to ship from the time they are placed. There are several articles on this site that say this in one way or another.
