PalmOne Expected to Announce Treo 650 on October 25

Several gadget-oriented websites, including Brighthand are predicting that the PalmOne Treo 650 will be announced on October 25. That's three weeks from yesterday. I'll bet that Treo users who want to upgrade will start getting their 650s around Thanksgiving.

The expected Treo 650 feature set, as reported by Brighthand, looks a lot like the one that was reported here on Operation Gadget in September. I don't expect to see any surprises in that regard.

The Treo 650 is expected to be available for GSM/GPRS and CDMA versions. Hopefully, PalmOne and the U.S. mobile carriers will not distort the market by delaying the introduction of the Treo 650 on some networks.
