I noticed at my high school that it has became a trend to wear the yellow livestrong wristband but I have asked people if they actually know what it means and they have no clue. I think it is really sad but the only thing you can do is tell them I guess. So for now on if I someone with one I ask them if they know what it means and if they don't I make them aware.

At my school, livestrongs seam to be more of a trend then a donation. Everyone just wants the pink ones but no one know's what they're for. They don't even care if they're fake and not for a worthy cause, they just want the most in thing. Some people are even selling them to others for like $5 when they're only $1!!

You may have seen blue, pink, or white ones. They are not Livestrong armbands but for other charities, the footballers like Rooney and Ferdinand wear blue ones they are for bullying, the pink ones for breast cancer and the white ones for a charity in africa, it think its for aids! so for hiphoppin 26 the colour signifies a charity not a fashion!

I have three livestrongs and i think that iz a very nice cause so more people should think about bying them! Think of it this way if u had cancer u would want people to help you out , think that ur helping people out when u buy them it is a Good deed!!

In my school, the yellow livestrong wristbands are all now just fashion statements its like 1 in 30 people now what it really is and like 1 in 10 only know its for cancer. When i ask them what the wristband means, they say uhh i dont know and usually just give me an dumb excuse about why they bought it, like "uhh i love yellow" or "my friend wanted me to wear it." I say they should think twice about what the yellow band is before they make a fool of themselves.

I'm am ordering these barcelets and doing so with sadness and joy all at once. My Godfather died of cancer and I miss him dearly.Please buy these so cancer can be cured and others may be more fortunate to live. I wanted my uncle to live and he suffered so much and he suffered without much complaining and the day he died I'll never forget the last hug I gave him and said in my heart good-bye.

hi. i am 15 years old and i think that people who have no idea what the wristband means shouldn't wear them. Many (especially students my age) probably bought a livestrong wristband because it's the new trend which is clearly stupid. i have a family friend who is diagnosed with cancer and that is one of the reasons why i am going to support Lance Armstrong's foundation. it is not because i want to be fashionable but because i truly want to help and wear the band to remind me that everyday, many are suffering from cancer and that i had helped in a small but meaningful way.

Here in mexico is very fashionable to wear it ( tv people, áthletes and models wear it too) most people know that is for helping people who is diagnosed with cancer in some mall the wrist band costs $14 and people buy it.
