Small, Cheap 2 Gigabyte Hard Drive Announced

Slashdot reported that Cornice has announced a small, cheap two gigabyte hard disk that they think would make a good storage medium for a "Mini iPod." Some journalists and enthusiasts think such a device will be announced at this week's MacWorld Expo in San Francisco.

Speculation further suggests that a device built around a hard disk like this one could retail for significantly less than $200. Many people think that Apple could sell many more iPods if they had a sub-$200 offering.
