palmOne Will Begin Taking Orders for T-Mobile Treo 600s in Mid-February

On Monday, I ranted about the fact that T-Mobile USA has not yet authorized use of the Treo 600 on its network. This morning, I noticed that a slight change in the Treo 600 Find-a-Wireless Plan Page on Handspring.com. The relevant text is:

Treo 600 is currently available with plans from AT&T Wireless, Cingular Wireless and Sprint. We currently plan to begin taking pre-orders for T-Mobile in mid-February and expect to start shipping in early March.

The emphasis on the sentence about T-Mobile is mine.

I'm glad they are moving ahead with this. This Treo user could use an upgrade.
