AT&T Wireless Running Ads for Treo 600 and Blackberry 7210 on NYC Infinity Radio Stations

Any questions about limited availability of Handspring / PalmOne Treo 600s must be reconsidered in light of the following news:

AT&T Wireless began running radio ads this morning on Infinity Radio stations in the New York City market promoting the availability of the Treo 600 and the RIM Blackberry 7210 on their network. The ads invite customers to visit http://www.attws.com/mobilepro/ for more details.

The URL mentioned in the ads provides immediate information about AT&T Wireless Blackberry-based services. But, there is no information about the new Treo listed on this page.

Subsequent searches for "Treo 600" across the AT&T Wireless Services website indicate that the current price for this phone is $499.99 after a $50 instant rebate, provided a qualified service plan is selected by the customer. Current Treo owners can upgrade to the Treo 600 with AT&T Wireless Service via the Treo Owner Upgrade Program for $399.00 until December 15, 2003.

The AT&T website lists more than one price for the Blackberry 7210, depending on whether the end customer is an individual or a business. The price for individuals appears to be $349.99, while business users get a $449.99 price with a "Wireless Business Advantage" agreement discount that appears to be variable, depending on committed business volume.
